Focus - Concentration - Direction - Attention

One of our greatest difficulties is confusion, as our thoughts and energies are lost, scattered, and mixed up. Clarity through attention and focus concentrates and directs our powers if done well. My best lesson of this was a friends story of motorcycle racing. He said, "Look where you want to go, where you need to go. If you look at the rock in your path it will pull you into it. If you look for the opening, that will pull you through it." Being a motorcyclist, I can really relate, but ever since I have considered this a valuable life lesson. I acknowledge the rocks, the obstacles in life, but I am more focused on overcoming them than enlarging and magnetizing them through fearful focus. Mental concentration is like a magnifying glass that can focus energy like sunlight, bringing it to a pin point and starting a fire. This mental fire can also be started in our hearts and souls, wherever it will do the most good. This blog is an example of that as I had a myriad of thoughts of what areas of life needed attention and direction. This work gives me the clarity I needed. My hope is it will be an inspiration for others, for you, to see what areas of your life need attention and direction, focus and concentration. I can't find videos for focus and concentration but goals are similar so here's a few by Zig Zigler, Jack Canfield and Tony Robbins .
